Kari Lewis (Chickasaw)
Dartmouth College – Native American Studies-Studio Art & Russian
Kari Lewis is an enrolled member of the Chickasaw Nation. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2009, with a B.A. in Native American Studies modified with Studio Art and in Russian Language. While at UCLA, Kari will study American Indian languages with the goal of helping her own community to revitalize Chikashshanompa, the language of the Chickasaw people.
