I was born and raised in Lakewood, CA but my family is from Pawhuska, Oklahoma and Custer, South Dakota. I am Osage.
I currently teach sailing, kayaking, and canoeing for Leeway Sailing Center, via the City of Long Beach Parks and Recreation Department. My specialty is organizing and instructing outside groups through our center.
I graduated from Chapman University, cum laude, with a B.A. in French and Political Science, an emphasis in American Politics, and a minor in American Indian Studies. Fields of study in which I am interested include, but are not limited to: indigenous people internationally, tribal self-determination, and community self-sustainability
